Did you know women were not allowed in Olympic marathon competition until 1984? That's recent history, people! Thanks to women like Joan Benoit Samuelson (she won that first Olympic marathon for women in 1984), female athletes in every walk of life exploded onto the sports scene in every imagineable way. New sports, innovations and stories happen all the time. We want to hear yours.
